Title: Sharin' some recent faves
Post by: Lou on 28-Feb-11, 08:33:20 PM
Just wanted to share some pictures from the last 4-5 months. I haven't shared too many pictures recently, so I went through some recent file folders and picked out some images that I liked. There's only one picture of falcons; just a mix of different stuff.

 Lou, they're all beautiful. I especially like the heron and the kingfisher. I got a kick out of the decorated hay bales, too. Thanks for sharing.

Rockin' pix, Lou - that Belted Kingfisher is among the top for me. No visit home is complete without one.

Ruth,
in the album, you asked where the picture of the Magee Volunteer Firehouse was taken. That was near the Montezuma Wildlife Refuge in a rather obscure spot off route 89. It was on Mays Point Road and East Rd. We sometimes venture down old Towpath Road which is in the area; an off-road ride that offers more wildlife viewing opportunities.

Lou,

All of these made me smiile.  Great stuff!

Congratulations on the weight loss.  Now you can carry 75 pounds of camera gear while running after falcons.

Thanks,

Paul
