Title: BirdLife Malta podcast
Post by: Bobbie Ireland on 08-Mar-11, 08:03:15 AM
As you know, the subject of illegal shooting in Malta is very close to my heart. I am now in touch with Geoffrey Saliba, Campaigns Co-ordinator with Birdlife Malta, and this link has suggestions for contacting the relevant people.

Please take the time to listen to Geoffrey... it take about 20 minutes, but I feel it is well worth your time. And then, follow the links for people whom we should contact re our concerns.

If there is anything else I can do to provide information, just let me know!

Thank you so much!

Bobbie

Shooting at night is not a SPORT. I'm listening now, this is terrible! The poor Cranes! That's right the Maltese Govt. are OBLIVIOUS to this! Let's get em. Hopefully, this can change but it's going to take effort! I encourage everyone interested in saving these migrating birds to do what Bobbie said.

You're right Donna it isn't sport it's MURDER! And as long as police are shooting at the wildlife too the government can't be trusted to enforce anything! I don't care what country you live in, government officials for the most part can't be trusted because they can be bought! The PEOPLE have to act as they are doing in Malta to be present and deter such acts of violence against Gods creatures. Just my opinion.
