There was a tweet that Lou was going to investigate, but I haven't seen anything.
Title: Re: What is that roaring noise... Post by: Carol P. on 03-Apr-11, 06:30:49 PM Just checked with Dana. Lou believes that it is an air compressor at the Democrat & Chronicle (D&C) that is located next to the Times Square bldg (across Broad St., same side).
We noticed it yesterday, but it was quiet this morning. Started up again this afternoon. Hopefully it will stop soon and I can't believe it will continue during the week when people are in that building working. Hopefully they fix it soon! Oh I think it's working ok. It goes off every few minutes and a big puff of steam billows up from whatever it is!
