Title: iphone question
Post by: Donna on 14-Apr-11, 11:18:01 AM
OK, who knew but I took a lot of videos with my iphone and because I held the phone upright, all my videos came out sideways. Is their any way to flip them like you can with pics? I'm so mad at myself and I should have known with the pics coming out sideways. If there's no way to do this then I'll have a crick in my neck watching them.  :stupid: Thanks!

Hi Donna - I'm sorry to say that I have no idea.  Did you do a search on the website of your phone and check it out.  Maybe they have an idea, or maybe you can ask them the question?

I did and it said "basically, sux to be you" but I did find out I can use Windows Movie Maker to flip them but I don't have it on 7, XP comes with it. I need to find a download to install and play with it that way. Lesson learned.

I think it's the other way around.  Works with 7, not with XP.

I asked my son, who is an IT Guy and an Apple Consultant, and he said, basically, "crick in the neck".  I suspect if it was possible to flip the video he'd know about it.  Heating pads usually work well for cricks in the neck!

Thanks guys, I'm DL it now. They said Windows XP comes with movie maker, 7 does not and you have to download it. We'll see what happens. I never liked cricks!  :D

Well, I DL movie maker and find a problem already. It won't let me do anything, says a codec has stopped working. It was hard to even close the program. Should I uninstall it and reinstall?

This is what came up, does anyone know?

Does the "check online" option help?

Nope! It took me forever to close this program, it wouldn't let me. I had to bring up task manager to close it. UGH!
