Title: Zuzu stops by
Post by: Paul Hamilton on 14-Apr-11, 09:03:14 PM
Thanks to a Capitols/Rangers hockey game that went late into overtime last night, we got a chance to watch Zuzu as well.  The seed cake was turned toward the kitchen window, giving us a view that showed up her patagium -- the web of skin connecting her legs into a perfect gliding shape.  Also, check out her flat tail.

That is the truth!  I think of myself as pretty wildlife-knowledgeable, and had no idea, until Paul posted a map of their range, that they cover so much of North America, including my own state.  Sneaky little nocturnal critters.

Thanks for sharing the Zuzu visit, Paul :thanx:  Happy about Zuzu, not about the Rangers :(
