More than once when I have awakened in the middle of the night and checked the time, the hands were positioned just in the wrong spot, so when it read, say 5:35, I read 7:25 and panic ensued. I could not tell the short -hand from the long -hand and that was before having to wear glasses. Now, without my glasses, I can't even find the clock!
