But I thought I would ask here about info on trying to indentify a band on a young falcon. It was spotted here in NJ at my favorite birding spot in the Meadowlands, and was blogged about here: http://www.meadowblog.net/2011/07/another-day-another-banded-peregrine.html (http://www.meadowblog.net/2011/07/another-day-another-banded-peregrine.html) > > It seems to have a black 25 over a green AW, at least seen so far. She just disappeared during the Mariah and Kaver season. There are a few nests in Jersey....Jersey City falcons...Duke Farms falcons. Maybe Bonnie or someone else knows where to find Band #'s. There may be a link here to report a band number. I'll have to look. Thanks NFF, be cool to know where this young juvie came from.

Thanks to Debbie and NFF for posting here on the forum. We do love to try to help ID them. |
