Title: Re: Peregrine on hunt Post by: Shaky on 10-Oct-11, 07:29:06 AM I liked the sound effects, especially the afterburners. The only thing missing was the sound of the Stuka siren.
Peregrines can't compete on the flat with pigeons? Maybe those English peregrines can't, but it never stopped Mariah. It's hard to imagine the speed of the peregrine without watching something like this. Still, a 20% strike rate? I'd have thought it to be higher.

A breath-taking video, but is that really correct? At he end, the narrator says that "despite their speed, the PeFalcon only has a 20 percent strike rate." So they must be continually in hunt mode especially if they are feeding young ones? I learned something new tonight. This was a pretty awesome video though. They are so awesome regardless of the misses!
