Nice report. I enjoyed reading it.  Even though it was published in a Long Boat Key, Florida paper, it is about  migration observed from Fire Island -- a barrier beach across from Long Island, NY.  Best beach in the world!  Makes me want to move back to LI just to watch the migration and shore birds.  Love them all. And yes it is cold!   I just heard on the news that a Halloween storm may bring up to six inches of snow to NYC and Boston!   WOW!   Snow on Halloween is weird up here, but in NYC -- unheard of!     It sounds like a coastal storm..Donna, do you have snow forecast for NJ?

Yes, we do as a matter of fact. Up to 10 inches in some places. Not sure what we are getting. I think it's a surprise!  :snow2:

Maybe Happy Feet will show up on the Jersey shore.
