Yeah, where is it? (http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/nn56/aquaphinaaz/smileys/alarm.gif) I'm up the same time as always...6am, (http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a178/LilHoneyBhee/animated%20icons/icon09_040.gif) (5am according to my PC)! It didn't work!

I had the bright sunshine waking me up! Hate to try and sleep when there is light so this morning I had to wake the computer up since it was BRIGHT outside which means to my pea brain, time to get up! Bigger surprise is that hubby is also up! :surprise:

Takes me a solid month to readjust. It's not just the waking up same time regardless of what it's called, it's the ready for bed an hour "early" too. My late nights at work I'm ready to hit the pillow before I even leave my desk.
I won't debate whether it had a reason once upon a time, but this is an idea that's long past useful. :nap:

Yup! Awake at 2, since I get up at 3 every day, so I flopped around for a couple of hours, got up, and started baking rye bread. I like standard time - my system will be ok and back on track in a day or two (I never really adjust to daylight savings time), so when that happens, I'll get some serious sleep :yahoo:

A comment by Fred on one of the blogs I visit...
"Only the government can conclude that if you cut a foot off of the top of a blanket and sew it to the bottom of the same blanket, you’ll have a longer blanket."

Changed the clock, then spent that extra hour trying to get it back on the little nail in the wall. ;D

Stayed up 'til 12:15 but it was really 11:15. Laid awake for an hour trying to get my knee situated just right. Woke up at 3 with hives breaking out. Took a Benadryl, went back to sleep until 5 at which time I took a couple tylenol for the knee, visited the bathroom and back to sleep 'til 6:30 and finally gave up and did my knee exercises in bed and then got up for the day and grabbing another Benadryl for my rascally, itchy hives that seem to want to make a comeback. Phew, I need a nap already!!! :tired:

Stayed up an hour later instead of getting to bed to enjoy my extra hour of sleep. So I didn't save any whale oil at all. Go figure. :stupid:

And around here I'm a bit of a night owl and hubby is 10:00 PM and not a minute later, so last time I took our dog out I stayed up an extra hour thinking it would help him in the morning, but nope, Billy Bob got up right when he always did, so guess who's taking a nap and it's not me. :hysterical: I tried............

As always, I am glad to get the extra hour of sleep. However... This was the Sunday (happens nearly every month) when my employer, The Home Depot, sees fit to have a mandatory store meeting at 0600, since it's about the only time the stores are not open for customers. So I STILL had to get up at 0445, new time, to go to the )&(%&$^!! meeting :dead: Then, home for three hours, and back for a full shift, sigh... ??? Early night tonight for sure... Carol WV

It seems our animals have internal clocks and our dog Jake always has a rough time adjusting! He wants his lunch and supper an hour early, guess he doesn't understand the time change! LOL! Have to take a couple days just to re adjust him! LOL! I just see it as one more thing to get used to in old age, they say change keeps your mind active and "young" I would have to have a brain first!! :hysterical:
MAK sorry to hear things are still achy and itchy. Hopefully the walking is getting better! Hang in there and don't give up! :penguinspin: :flowers:

No sweat Annie! The walking is getting better and better. I've been going outside the last few days walking in the driveway with both the walker and cane. My therapist says to use the walker just for safety sake when I'm alone(which is pretty much all the time) but to use the cane when someone is around. I will definitely NOT give up! I still have another knee to get replaced!!!

MAK that is GREAT news! Just think of all the knowledge you learn with this first one you will already know for the second one! I wonder once we get all our "moving" parts replaced does that mean our age goes backwards and we begin to get younger? New lease on life sort of thing?? Hopefully the weather keeps nice so you can continue to go outside for your walks!

There's a guy that rides one around downtown all the time! My therapist says I have to bend my knees to at least 110 degrees to ride a bike. My new knee is at just about 90 right now and that's more than my other old rickety knee can do. I got my work cut out for me but I'm determined to get there! I have to!!!! ;D
