Title: Work is scheduled for December 28 at the Times Square Building Post by: Shaky on 26-Dec-11, 12:08:21 PM The cameras at Times Square will be unavailable most of the day Wednesday, December 28 while we move our computer equipment to a new location in the building. The equipment is going from the hot, dirty, dark elevator room to a secure, climate-controlled server room that was donated to us by building management. This new location should improve the reliability of our equipment and extend its longevity.
The cameras will be shut off sometime after 8 AM and should be on again later that afternoon. A $30 gizmo that captures video for Stream 2 broke. We'll try to replace it tomorrow.
