Title: Snippage Post by: nwfloridafalconfan on 19-Jan-12, 12:01:19 AM I found a neat little free application that may come in handy during the upcoming nesting season. With "Snippage" (http://snippage.gabocorp.com/ (http://snippage.gabocorp.com/)) you can run a portion of any web site in its own little window, separate from your browser. You can work on spreadsheets, word processing, email, Facebook, etc while keeping an eye on a favorite web site. Snippage runs in and requires "Adobe AIR" (http://get.adobe.com/air/otherversions/ (http://get.adobe.com/air/otherversions/)). I use "Always On Top Maker" (http://www.fadsoft.net/AlwaysOnTopMaker.htm#always-on-top-maker (http://www.fadsoft.net/AlwaysOnTopMaker.htm#always-on-top-maker)) to keep the Snippage window on top of other work. All software is free and passed my Avast & Prevx virus and spyware scans with no problems. Adobe AIR and Snippage work with Windows and Mac; Always on Top Maker is Windows only.
This screen capture video shows a Snippage window I made to display the Rfalconcam streaming main camera. Note that the next box view stays on top when moving between browser tabs and when switching programs. snippagefalconboxdemo (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3_WCm2YAcwU#ws) Title: Re: Snippage Post by: Shaky on 19-Jan-12, 06:28:53 AM Nice tip! This will come in handy.
We already offer the ability to run our streaming video in a separate window, but as you point out, the window can't be made to stay on top. Your solution fixes that shortcoming.
