Female Blackbird. Blackbirds are members of the Thrush family. We have our own native birds, plus many migrate to this area during winter from Northern climes.

That's a Blackbird? Hmmm, wow, sheesh.....OK then, thanks Bobbie.

Male is much blacker with a bright wax-yellow bill... will try to find a pic.

Not the best link, I fear, but it shows the diff between male and female. Google "male blackbird" for some good pix - I do not know how to make the image file smaller - duh!!!
