Title: Catching up - Raptor watches early Nov. and Eagles at Iroquois. Post by: grannywood on 10-Nov-09, 07:36:57 PM I haven't seen Mariah at the Medley Center or St. Ann's or anywhere else in Irondequoit since Oct. 30th. I have seen lots of Red-tailed Hawks and Coopers Hawks and even a Kestrel. In the last week I was only able to get downtown this past Saturday, and was lucky enough to catch a quick flyover by (I believe) "Beauty". Here are some pics of my early Nov. adventures. http://tinyurl.com/ybak3kj Lou and I also took a roadtrip to the Iroquois National Wildlife Refuge this past Saturday. We spent a wonderful day with a pair of eagles at Ringneck Marsh. I hope they stay the winter.
