Baby bunnies!  A nest of about 6 of them at the base of our Clematis!

I don't think Bill will find them very cute when they start eating his vegetable garden!

We already have quite a few rabbits around here so he says what's 6 more and actually the deer do more garden damage than anything. These babies are awful tiny and cute! He saw the nesting material and thought it was a birds nest.  What a surprise!

Those are so cute!  I've been seeing them on my runs through the park...little ones just exploring their new world.  Thankfully they run for cover when they see me, which is what I'd prefer they do for their own safety.

We looked out the window today to find the nesting materials had been moved and all the bunnies are gone.  No signs of a predator but maybe mom moved them or they left on their own. No signs of them around the yard either.

Hmm, maybe because you spotted them. When I was at my brother in laws last year, the landscaper noticed a flap in the grass before her ran over it. Lifted it up and there were 4 babies under the flap. He put a cage around it so no one goes near it but momma got wind and moved them over night.

I agree-I've never seen a nest of bunnies in one spot more than once.  Mom always seems to be on to us humans!
