A nest of about 6 of them at the base of our Clematis! Those are so cute! I've been seeing them on my runs through the park...little ones just exploring their new world. Thankfully they run for cover when they see me, which is what I'd prefer they do for their own safety. Title: Re: What we found in our front yard today! No signs of a predator but maybe mom moved them or they left on their own. No signs of them around the yard either.

When I was at my brother in laws last year, the landscaper noticed a flap in the grass before her ran over it. Lifted it up and there were 4 babies under the flap. He put a cage around it so no one goes near it but momma got wind and moved them over night. Title: Re: What we found in our front yard today!
