It reminds me of a situation in Toronto a few years back. Here at our own Civic Centre in Scarborough it took a concerned CPF contributor/volunteer Ann Brokelman to get the city not to cut down a set of trees (about 5) one of which contained a Redtailed Hawks nest that was outside the centre, where theyd wanted to put some sort of new exit from the building. Ann spoke to councillors and brought them out to view the nest and the Redtails got a reprieve. Their trees were left alone and it was agreed that the work there would not be done, infact they voted to change the plan. This was where Ann's office is, she did this of her own accord and we applauded her. She asked the right questions and took the right actions to help "her" Redtailed Hawk family.
