Title: Rosetta McClain Gardens Raptor Watch
Post by: BIGFRANK on 17-Aug-12, 06:06:58 AM
Its officially fall for me! Yes I wish away summer every year especially once fledge watch time is over. From now until end of Nov I conduct a migrating bird of prey count in Toronto. Last season was our best count ever at over 6700 birds of prey!! We are hoping for 7000 this season!! I cant update here every day, but U can find updates of what was seen plus photos daily at http://raptorwatch.blogspot.com (http://raptorwatch.blogspot.com)
In our best year we saw 85 Peregrines!!, and some we could even ID from terrific photos taken by various folks! When there is a phenonminal sighting or we can ID a Peregrine I will be sure to make a special posting here.
Everyone is invited to attend. If you Rochester Gals decide to come for a visit, stop in and see what goes by!

The annual Raptor Watch has started at Rosetta McClain Gardens.

Nice little article about the gardens and the watch with a mention of Frank as well.
