The "owlets" were starving since the owner installed a cap on the fireplace trapping the family inside it. The owners left on a vacation and came home to find that the interior of their house had some tenants!I guess it was quite a mess!! Luckily all survived but a couple are very weak and will need some care. :( and :thumbsup:
While at a meeting at The Living Desert a gentleman brough in a family of barn owls rescued out of a chimney they were nesting in. I guess this is common and many owlets are lost when the unknowing homeown lights a fire. This is why supplying nesting boxes is so essential!!!Title: Re: Natures' Remedy
