Title: DOT asks FAA to do more to reduce bird strikes

A recent Department of Transportation report says collisions between birds and airplanes occur five times more often now than in 1990, and calls on the Federal Aviation Administration to do more to solve the problem - offering the agency 10 recommendations to ensure it is working to reduce wildlife hazards at or near airports.
