Title: Peregrine at Croton
Post by: Bonnie on 02-Oct-12, 04:45:10 PM
I was up at the Croton Nature Center today and so was this bird.  Do you think the bird saw me?

Thanks all.  Could not see legs, so don't know about bands.  Sometimes we get them with bands.  I think the rose color on the feathers is from a recent meal.   It kind of goes all down the front.

Thanks.  I always feel special when I get to see a falcon in my own backyard, Croton.

Yuppers.  Trying to keep an eye on those NYC falcons, too.
