Title: Peregrines on Ocracoke
Post by: Paul Hamilton on 09-Oct-12, 10:38:56 PM
As many of you know, my family usually spends Columbus Day Weekend (and many other weekends) on Ocracoke Island, a beautiful, remote, barier island off the coast of North Carolina.  Alas, not this year -- the Air Force Research Laboratory liked our work, so I am off in the desert writing a proposal.  My heart, however, is on Ocracoke, so I was delighted to  find this

LOL, you always find the cool stuff before I do.

No peregrines out here this trip, but I did have a roadrunner closely following me yesterday as I walked near the swimming pool, perhaps hoping I had a snake or lizard in my pocket and wanted to share.
