Title: Falcon in North Chili
Post by: Lizz on 02-Jan-13, 06:49:24 PM
A friend in North Chili recently posted a picture on Facebook of a pefa that regularily visits her backyard.  I was not able to identify the bird, but the peachy breast did look familiar.

Wish it was a bit closer...can't make out enough detail to tell anything. Tell your friend to keep trying!

Looks more like a Cooper's Hawk to me.  Also good to have out one's window!

Ah yes, long tail.  Coop or a Sharpie?
