Scientists have fitted 11 geese with tracking tags in an attempt to find the cause of the birds' mass disappearance 10 years ago.   (Now that's a BIG loss)  :o

Oscar Wilde's comment comes to mind: ""To lose one parent... may be regarded as a misfortune; to lose both looks like carelessness."

(I know - this is serious... all the same... one wonders...)
