Title: Chicago wildlife report: Beavers! Post by: dale on 15-Mar-13, 06:29:29 PM William Beavers is a longtime political insider in Chicago; he was an alderman and is now a County Commissioner. He is a favorite of mine for reasons that have NOTHING to do with his political tactics themselves.
For many, many years, newspapers have regularly featured reports of how “Beavers engineered a complex deal” ... Can you imagine how happy it makes me to read that? Since the last time "Democrats Re-elected Beavers," however, believe it or not, there have been “Tax Fraud Charges Leveled Against Beavers!” Only in Chicago! Subsequently, there have been daily news reports such as: "Beavers Used Campaign Funds at Casino!" which go into detail about how "Beavers lost nearly $500,000 gambling between 2006 and 2008." I’d love to have seen them sidle their furry butts up to the table in the casino. ...and where do they keep their chips??? Current (trial-related) articles describe how "Beavers swiveled slowly" in a courtroom chair. Another fine image to savor. Title: Re: Chicago wildlife report: Beavers!
