Title: I completed the Blue Ridge (half) Marathon! Post by: valhalla on 20-Apr-13, 01:11:39 PM The training paid off! I complete the Blue Ridge (half) Marathon! I have no idea how 20 souls were able to do the FULL course twice (52.4 miles), as 13.1 was bad enough :-) Had to do a goodly amount of walking to get my knees through it. Both were is compression sleeves, but the left one started popping around 11 miles anyone. I'm ok - a little sore, but ok. Finished in about 2 hours 49 minutes (GPS was out on my phone, so I don't have good numbers there). Results will be posted by 9 tonight. Now, I need to take a nap :-)
