Wasn't there speculation that Arthurin had possibly returned? I know there's been a female intruder reported. Eggs were uncovered for quite awhile again this morning. I hope she survives this, the intruder seems determined given how many days this has been going on. :( :(

It is possibly gone to another site of nesting (moved by the new male) or deceased (accident or battle). You'll be the first to know if he's preview of new... For what is a second nesting with the new male, yes it is possible, especially as there has been some matings today, but since he seems to have more of the chicane with other hawks, and considering the age of Spirit and his injury today, I think the chances are slim. We'll see in the next few weeks how it unfolds. (Eve)
