The two aren't fluffballs any longer.  Out in their playpen, plucking feathers.

Dot, I looked for the latest article about a collapse, I didn't see one but a few did happen! The nest is still there and the kids probably fledged already! Here's the link for the cam!

Thanks so much, Donna! Two or three days ago a huge construction crane fell across the bridge. I'm relieved that they probably had already fledged before that happened.

They are moving the nest to the new bridge, if it's still there!

Crane collapse was a few months ago. Birds fledged. Ossining fourth grader at Claremont School where I taught for 10 years named one Puente.  Spanish for bridge. We were all very proud.  The love of birds where I live continues.

That's why I couldn't find a current collapse, they had quite a few!!

Thanks, Bonnie. The collapse was in our local paper last week and after hearing from you and Donna, I decided I must definitely be senile. I called the paper which admitted it was an old news item that "accidentally" was dated as new news and put in last week by mistake. I'm glad for Ossining and Puente and happy that your area is still loving birds.
