Title: My local bird sightings 2019
Post by: Dumpsterkitty on 14-Jan-19, 07:16:42 AM
Well, I have finally seen with my very own eyes a peregrine falcon flying by the Mid-Hudson Bridge. No picture-I was tooling along at 50 mph in heavy traffic-but there was no mistaking it!

I've been trying for years to see one there. NYS DEC has a camera on the nestbox under the bridge. I had to have a friend scope out where the box is from a boat on the Hudson. But all the time I've spent over there never ever actually saw a PEFA until yesterday!
