This idea came from the Golden Snowball Award, which has been awarded to Rochester. The eyases first start off looking like white puffy snowballs, but as they mature their golden beaks, feet and coloring around their eyes begins to appear!

Snowfalls in Rochester were once legendary, although lately the lake-effect snow has favored Syracuse, and Rochester has started to fall behind.
