Thanks Shaky! And welcome to Banding Day 2022!

A reminder to anyone coming downtown to watch the banding: please do it safely from street level. For your own safety, please do not go up on rooftops.

Zara, because Rochester is known as the Flower City.

Zara has Arabic roots and is a variation of Zahrah, which means blooming flower and radiance.

Her name is Kanfai Malachim (pronounced: Con-fe mal-a-keem), the Hebrew phrase for Angel's Wings.

Post by: Dumpsterkitty on 21-Jun-22, 10:39:39 am
The boys chose the name because in the Hebrew religion they believe Angels are messengers of God in physical form.

By seeing nature physically we can relate to God better. The birds are the messengers.
