Nice pictures.  Dale Sr. used to be my driver but I went with Smoke after he died.   Go Tony!

Haven't been to the Glen in years.  First time I went was when races where right thru the town.  Spent many years up at the track, camping.  My cousin was one of the photographers for a few years and I helped with that.  Then my husband and I worked in the timing booth for a few years. Lots of memories.   :indycar:

We are headed to Richmond next week (great race between Tony and Jimmy Johnson last September - Tony just couldn't hold the lead on the back stretch).  Rich is cheering for Newman - a good choice.  My seats are great and shouild points leader Stewart win, I will be obital!   :nascar:

For Paul:  Watkins Glen still does road racing, in fact, this is one of 2 road course races in NASCAR (I'm writing letters to encourage a Cup race in Montreal, as that is a beautiful track).  August 9, 1986 was the first NASCAR Winston Cup race at the Glen.  :nascar: Watkins Glen still hosts the Vintage Grand Prix.   :indycar:  Corning Glass was part owner during the revitalization and rebuilding period.
