Darn. I see the reddish band. So glad the Kodak folks saw this and let us know. Unity needs to stay at Kodak and hopefully will be busy with her own eggs. Ok, I know it is nature but that darn Archer has been at the root of territorial squabbles, now, with two females. At least Unity is ok; we know from Mariah, that Beauty can do a lot of damage

Gosh, this brings back memories of my sweet Harley. Thankfully a good friend of mine helped me with him. Is there a rehab center where you live? Here in Rochester, there is water therapy and chiropractors (for dogs) who have worked wonders after strokes.

I did read the article beneath about the mother bird being relocated. One employee from Tufts said the jerk who got stitches had gone on the fire escape where mama bird was. She gave a warning peck first and he tried to "stare her down." Hence 15 stitches. It should have been 15 stitches and a fine. People commenting on this article, for the most part, thought it unfair that she was moved. That doesn't change the fact that this poor bird is now separated from her young
