I agree MAK!!!! Those poor sweet animals. The same thing should be done to whoever did this. I always remember a couple of years ago at High Falls when someone threw a pit bull over the bridge. That poor dog had probably been involved in dog fighting. It was so heartbreaking to see him.
To the right of Shaky's pointer, there is a column. To the right of that is where jemison was after his parents chased him back to the times building In between the two wings is a metal structure. Jemison landed there- perfectly- after one of his very short excursions.
And I probably should have said grating rather than grail!
She needs to come to my house. I still have two bags of potting soil in my car and the flowers I bought are still in their containers in my driveway, waiting to go into flower boxes! I'm a little behind
The other amazing thing is that Jemison was perching on the fire escape-- something his talons have not done so to see him balance was pretty awesome. when he was trying to climb, (doing the bat look as he gripped the times square bldg) he didn't flutter but was able to fly after that.
I was really impressed with A/B. They were watchful and often in the air with Jemison. We were having to identify who was who! That parent involvement was impressive!
These two have had different experiences from our other little falcons-- and though they have flapped, it hasn't been the running and flapping we have seen in past years with the playpen area of Kodak. That made the stellar flights Jemison took even more impressive and brought to mind Sabrina/Valiant and Zephyr !
