Holy schmoly Harlequin's changed so much over the long weekend. I've been peeking in at her, but have to say, today I can't tell her from Quest! In any regard, just wanted to let y'all know that a few of us here at Harlequin have volunteered for the fledge watch and are expecting some training at some point this week. Feeling two ways about this! Don't want to see her fly away!

Ah, Kat, how we know that feeling!  I watch her with her mama and hate the thought that they will be separated.  Whenever I have seen the little ones in the nestbox, I have cherished the moments, knowing that all too soon, they take that first flight to their own adventures.

Oh dear - yet again! WHAT is to be done about the windows??? I fear that the answer is: Nothing.

I think there is something that can be put on windows to make them less reflective.  When I was in Canada a few years back, if memory serves me (and it doesn't always )  I thought there was mention of this or of a special type of window.

I can't find a video link but Mike Allen was interviewed on rnews about the comeback of eagles.  Wonderful pictures and very touching.  He is such a great guy!

And quite handsome, I may add!  Great story and love the little eaglet! 

I love listening to Mike talk about the Eagles he so dearly loves.   

when the reporter thanked him he said he was the one who was blessed to see the eagles flourish.  What a wonderful guy!

...beige strip on the tip of the tail.  It was Harlie sitting there all along!
