This week's forum disaster reminded me I was due for a full backup.  Just sharing the reminder... 

My PC is always asking me to back up my files. Where do they back up to? I have all my pics on memory sticks but that's about it.

She's having little dreams, chirps once in a while.

We saw this bear when we were in Alaska last year. The reporter got one thing wrong. The bear was first seen in July, not September.

Just goes to show that you can never predict nature.

She is "Ballistic" a peregrine hatched in Cleveland Ohio in 2005.

I got my final shot of Stella on Mar 1.  The next CT shots were of Gleig and her mate who most likely attacked and forced out our original pair.  Our beautiful Stella had been up there on that roof since early March, probably the victim of a fatal attack.  I also had hoped they just got nicely convinced to leave, even though I knew Stella would never go for that.  I just didn't want to think of this kind of alternative.  None of us did.  We're all crying together. 

That's just the saddest thing to read Sage. I'm really sorry this had to happen to Stella. I will light a candle for her.

We should have lit candles for our server.

I thought I remembered 2 tiercels before Archer arrived. One was very camera shy and wouldn't go in the nest box with Unity. The other one did.
