We are going to have a plaque made in honor and memory of Violet. we would like to bring her back to her park and place her at the tree where we were able to finally get her . We will let everyone know once we get all the details settled . We want to thank everyone with all our hearts for the amazing support and kind words . It has been very helpful to us . We are so heartbroken from all of this and it is comforting to know you all cared so much for Violet and for us . Thank you again, Cathy and Bobby

Haven't made it out and about as much with family in town for the holidays, but found this intriguing... LeFloch flew up with a bat as his prey on Christmas Eve Day. Thought he might share with Lara, but she didn't join him and he finished it off on his own.  Chad & Chris on CMNH

Thanks Kris for sending this. Wow, a bat!

WOW! HAVE YOU EVER SEEN A SNOWY OWL, IN THE CITY? There is one sitting next to the chimney on my neighbor's roof, 80 Packard St. It's a big blue house in the middle of the block. I could hardly believe it! It's 11:30 am, and it's been there for 2 hours at least. I called a birder I know, who took down the time, address, etc. to make an official report because this is so rare to see in the city. It's perched right next to the chimney. Go see before it flies away!

Posted on the GVAS site. Is this close to go see?
