We are planning on doing maintenance on the cameras at the Times Square building this weekend starting early Saturday afternoon. The cameras will be turned off during this period. They should be on again later in the afternoon.

Additional work may need to be done on Sunday. We'll make that determination Saturday.

One of the two, I didn't see which, just attacked a crow. From above me in the Times Square Building, it dive-bombed the crow into the Thomson-Reuters courtyard before breaking off the attack and flying back to the box. The poor crow then kept running into the walls and windows of the TR buildings before flying off.

We believe Archer left, so it had to be Beauty. WOW!! Exciting to watch. Thanks Mark.

One of the young cranes disappeared about 10 days ago, but was found last weekend, hanging out with a few Sandhill cranes at White River Marsh.

IMHO modern art at it's worse.  These are in the park between the Andrews St Bridge and the OCSR, just north of it.

Someone told me the city spent a whole lot of money on these things.

My Grandson, Gunner's 7th birthday is today, He is in IN and we are now in FL!  Will be calling him after he gets out of school!  Thanks Donna for all you do on here to keep all of us informed with IMPORTANT and FUN stuff!  Stay safe up there in the cold, snowy North!

Thanks Annie, it sure is Winter already up here. Most of the snow is already gone but the damage will take long to clean up. So many downed trees, branches and wires. We were very lucky as we did not lose power. Lots still without power and temps down to the 50's inside. Despite the flooding Irene caused, this by far is much worse, so they say. We'll bounce back slowly. Take care and enjoy your warmth.
