MAK - answering your text here - Osprey are talkers.  If you spend enough time with them you recognize the hunger, potty, alarm, and "look at me" calls.  As for the rest, I think that they talk simply because they Can and they Do.  Is it part of bonding?  Sure!  BUT they talk/sing and sing.  I also think (pure speculation) that because fishing is so good on the Bay that they "converse" with the neighbors, too - just saying "hey".

Knew you got hammered with Rain, as did we. Glad no damage but like the rest of us, lots of debris to clean. I have seen Denville and Dover flooded before but never to this extent. Janet, you have seen Denville, it's waist deep all through town. Still closed and many have lost their business. One man here in Dover got caught in the fast moving current on Blackwell St. He was moving so fast, no one could get him. From what they say, he just vanished. Awful. Glad ya's made it home safe.

Friday we decided to check on the family of 3, Spitfire was sitting on the cross beam under “E� of Bridge. Ten minutes later he flew off, Freddie and Voltaire flew in on the nest together she looked like she was doing house cleaning again while Freddie just watched her. Twenty minutes later, Freddie flew onto the beam and Voltaire flew onto the pipe. It was great to see the whole family again and we hope that the three of them keep on staying safe.
Thank You everyone that helped us this year in watching Freddie, Voltaire and Spitfire. Hope to see you again next year and now with the new tray we are hoping for more eggs. Have a great fall and winter.

There is no change in the situation of the Peregrine S2, it is still doing very well.
One of these days there are X-rays and everything will become clear if well together.
This is decisive for the further treatment and recovery of S2.

It's the Mozart harpsichord display on the Zaandam. The ship has a musical instrument theme.
