Quick Update:  Kathy O, Dana and Lou joined me.  Archer flew into the PPH and Lady Pefa joined him.  He flew out the back of the PPH and ended up flying towards the north.  LP flew up to the tall still.  We all left around 8:15 pm.  A had not returned and LP remained on the tall still.  No visit by the juvie from last night. - Carol P.

WanderingFalcon (Carol P.): At KP. A has now joined LP. He was on the ORB and is now on the west still. LP is still in the PPH. Where she goes when he comes.

Does anyone here watch this cam? Just wondering if the female ever leaves the nest. I have been monitoring this nest because I find it fascinating. The male has 1 foot, he seems to get around OK with it but does he catch prey, does he relieve the female. I have not seen him in the nest since I posted this on the 2nd. Maybe I'm just missing it all but it worries me as all I see is Gwen on the eggs. If anyone knows anything, please post it. Thanks.

3:08 p.m. Update: There are 2 chicks (that just got fed by the female), and while she left them to dispose of the prey, it looked like another egg was in the process of hatching! Should be an exciting weekend!

Checked on his background on the site and Rueben is/was an American born tiercel.   Maybe it's the Canadian beer  

The male at this nest site is named Rueben, and he is from the nest site at the Busch agricultural complex in Manitowoc, Manitowoc Country, Wisconsin. He was banded on May 9th, 2003, and has a black-over-green band on his left leg

That's too funny.  Here I am accusing Reuben of being Canadian.  Canadian beer...Busch Complex.  Must be some connection.  So once the male is confirmed, we might have a US pair residing in Scarborough.
