To answer the many questions, aeolus has not been seen since his last appearance at the udem. It is possibly gone to another site of nesting (moved by the new male) or deceased (accident or battle). You'll be the first to know if he's preview of new... For what is a second nesting with the new male, yes it is possible, especially as there has been some matings today, but since he seems to have more of the chicane with other hawks, and considering the age of Spirit and his injury today, I think the chances are slim. We'll see in the next few weeks how it unfolds. (Eve)
