I think the sweetest sight in the world is when a male Cardinal places food in the females beak. I have witnessed many a territorial chase by the males. They are non-stop motion! Thanks for sharing Donna!
What a Pleasant Morning March 12, 2011 - Windsor - Ambassador Bridge Dennis Patrick Reports:
At 6:30 A.M. quite a bit of activity going on the nest ledge. Lots of vocalizaion. 6:40 A.M. Freddie flew upon to the Church Steeple and Voltaire flew onto the pipe. It’s always a pleasure to see the both of them. Easy to see and easy to hear the both of them.
Once again this year we are tracking the Bald Eagles pairs at the Montezuma Wildlife Refuge and all seem to be sitting on eggs. Last the Mudlock pair mated and built and rebuilt, but never had eggs, this year they have been sitting on eggs for almost two weeks now. Last weekend we watched the switching of egg sitter at Mudlock. Suzanne
