Oh I feel for you Bobbie, my husband is the same way. I want the cart, he grabs the cart, I go get my own cart, he gets mad, don't need 2, (uh huh). I like to look, he gets what's on the list, he texts me, "let's go", no way, I'm not done yet. He's at checkout, I'm no where in sight. He texts me, "I'm leaving", I'm like (uh huh), I go to checkout, he's there, (with a look), I put my stuff on belt, we leave, get home, he say's "where's the creamer", I say, "you rushed me", won't get into what was said next!

(movie) Beauty lands on the Chase building windowsill then up to Mercury. You can see here.

That's a person in the window on the first frame. Beauty would be a speck on the window sill if she could actually land on it.

For REAL??? Well it sure looks like she went from sill to Merc. Man!!! I played it over and over frame by frame and I swear it was her. It looked just like her outline, unless the people in the building are wearing Falcon costumes. I'm bummed.

Was watching BBC news last night and the reporter from here was stuck in England and may not get home for Christmas. You guys are getting hammered. Poor birds, I feel so bad for them. Aafke said she's getting snow, snow and more snow. Whoa!

- Forgotten apples looking past their best in the fruit bowl? Make up for those forgotten good intentions by cutting them in half and putting them out on the ground - the blackbirds and others will thank you for it.

I have been meaning to send that tip for ages, Donna! Thanks! Also - we put a half apple on a pole (sturdy, and with a baffle... because of the Rat-Bird!) just outside our kitchen window. The critters that appear! I will see if I can get Rod to do a pic and will then send to Donna...

Oh, you hammer a nail into the top of the pole and stick the apple on that... gottit??

I gettit! Thanks!

Wow, she is an oldie but goodie Bobbie, almost 28 yrs. You have your Osprey, we have our Redtail. What a great story and may she live her remaining years out there in the wild blue yonder. Thanks for the great story.

Aafke, what kind of feeder is that? A ground feeder with a cage around it? Never saw one like that. Good for keeping cats and hawks off but not rats!
