Some of you may remember that Susan C geocached a small peregrine falcon keychain in honor of Skye in January 2007. Her goal was for Skye to wander around the world, as peregrine falcons do, and eventually have Skye return to Rochester, NY, where she was born. The journey started in the Phillipines, and 3 years later Skye finally made it home. She is now in a cache in Greece Canal Ponds Park. Hooray!! http://www.geocaching.com/track/details.aspx?id=565374CONGRATUALTIONS SUSAN!!! That's really cool! Where is Susan?

Tonight, when the pigeon house, there are a large number of prey brought. Besides earthworms and beetles also mice. Good enough for the female to feed. The dove has been docked her four-night after leaving. I do not know exactly what the impact will be beneficial for the outcome but can not. For this reason, I expect that eventually the effect of the pigeon hole in the porch will be minimal. If the birds have eggs hatching is likely to end up like this guy owl food ... 9:06 p.m., Monday, May 3, 2010
I think the pigeons are gone!

I saw two falcons in the nest yesterday and one was VERY large and fluffy. I had only seen one hanging around for quite a while.
Just wondering what's going on there. Every now and then I see a falcon there and was hoping for a 2nd clutch, if it's a new female. Poor Eemsmond huh....sitting away and nothing will hatch. Nijmegen should have a hatch any day now. Thanks.
