I am so glad you posted that A/B picture of their "whispers!"  I saw it but didn't know how to post!  I have to admit, it is pretty darn cute! 

I wonder what drives them... how they leave each other and then meet again.  I always wondered where Kaver went after he would leave.  I wonder where he is now.... ???

jeanne, I think me and you are on the same circuit...I'm so darn curious about all this migration stuff that I just want to get into one of their heads and find out.  Do they just say "well, gotta go"? IDK. pffft.

If they do, it will be soon. What makes them decide? Do they just up and leave? Will they go together?  Is it according to the weather...wind...coldness? Last but not least, do they tell each other this is the day? I'm sure no one really knows the answers to these questions ...but in the past, when Kaver left....did he just one day go for a jaunt and never come back?

It sure is!  Donna needs some falcon babies to capture some pictures of soon!

You betcha!! I'm happy I ID'd a catbird...big step for me...

Over the Summer while babysitting this little bird was flew down in front of me. He just stared at me. I'm like OMG, how cool, I'm actually having an experience. I'm bad at ID'ing most birds but I kept hearing cat sounds. Hmm, is it a  ? A few minutes later, I went around back and within seconds, he was there. Just as a test, I went around front...OMG, he followed me. This went on for most of the Summer. I had many a conversations with this bird. I even fed him popcorn and he ate it. Is it a Catbird?

Ei, I've seen that pale egg a few times. I believe that's what it is....but....we may have to call in a expert   

The Buffalo news tonight said that near Syracuse today there was some snow falling!!!
