I walked out into my parking lot and saw three or four people taking pictures, pointing toward the roof and politely shushing me.  I turned around, looked up and saw her there.  It was what I call a "Holy cr*p!" moment.

One morning about a year ago I walked out of my condo complex near the Summerville Pier and here's what I saw on my building's chimney.  I hope the snowies come back this year!

PORT DALHOUSIE - It was a cruel act of nature that killed at least 15 swans in Martindale Pond.

And the culprit — parasites from snails scarfed down by the birds along the Port Dalhousie waterway. That recipe for death began when the mute swans ate the small mollusks.

A bystander may have helped investigators pinpoint the cause.
