Primo has had a lot of life experience for such a youngster. Soon after fledging, Primo had a nasty crash into a nearby building in Salt Lake.
His x-rays look okay, but he's not currently prepared to be in the wild. He had been staying with a licensed rehabilitator here in Utah.
September 12, Primo was transported to a bigger flight cage at a facility in Colorado. There, he will continue to be observed. He'll also have a chance to practice his flight skills and will learn to chase, catch and eat live prey.
Our hope is that he'll be ready for release sometime soon. We will keep you updated with his progress. Hopefully, we'll continue to get some more photos, too!
