The US Air Force said this week that it was contracting to use a pair of falcons to protect the skies over the McConnell Air Force base from dangerous bird strikes. The birds will apparently replace a dog that has been used to chase birds from around the facility.

I hope I've just stirred up some discussion for nothing. I thought Dot for sure too until I enlarged it. Just happened that the band was the section showing & the apparent green just jumped off the page at me.
I caused a ruckus too over the band a while back! Dern pooh and lighting!
Actually, when I first saw the pic, I thought it was DC then when Ei tweeted the colors and the number 5, then I had to investigate, this is crazy and we went through this before with DC's band numbers. OY!!
