I think that thought went through my head earlier today! I know trains! And I was in a 95 degree classroom today! Yep,that is what it said! Hope Donna arrives safe and sound. I would love to meet her sometime while she is here. And I'm "...out for summer"...except for the other job. The heat is bad, so hope she arrives safe and sound. Donna got to Rochester OK and was with MAK heading to BS about an hour ago. Welcome to Donna! You arrived at exciting time! I'd love to meet you! Hey Margaret, I'm here until Tues morning, then it's the long train ride home. 11 hours, ugh! Hope to see some peeps on the bridge tomorrow or Friday. Me and MAK will be waiting!! Saw DC and Pigott tonight, what a difference seeing them LIVE. We were on the bridge with Joyce & Brian, Beauty on eyas and eggs. Was leaving to go see Pigott when I looked at Mercury and said DC!!!! MAK quick turned right down into the hole and we sat and watched him for a while. Carol P stopped by and we said our HI's and were off Goodbye's, heading over to see Pretty Pigott!! She is gorgeous and she gave us some flight shows too!! Looking forward to watching DC hunt and bring food to the nest!! He'll learn soon!! What an awesome day for B and DC and auntie Pigott!! Shhh, don't tell her!

His caretakers think he was injured while hunting and accidentally hit a pole, ending a long run in South Bend. "They showed up out of the blue in 2003, and they don't go away in the winter. They stay year-round. They have nested each year and raised a family and people just took them to heart. They are South Bend's birds," said Carol Riewe. The falcon is survived by his mate, Guinevere, along with one female chick from this year's nest. Part of an article I was reading.

A true champion among tiercels! Here, here...he was a brave little warrior He was Carly! One foot and all, he did well. I'll miss him.
