I know the sun comes up in the East and sets in the West. My house faces North. other than that forget it.

I also don't do street names. Drive til you see the big Oak tree, turn there drive til you see...

Beauty's foot today.

Looks good, no change! 

Being with me on a watch is an adventure. I have no sense of direction what so ever,so telling me something flew south is useless. I need to know which building it went towards. Telling me a bird is on the SE corner of the west face of a building really confuses me. I call a thingy a thingy as in the heat of a watch as long as U know which thingy I mean its all that matters :-) PS Im really not kidding. Even at a site Ive watched for 10 years Ive no clue which  direction is which.

I saw the photo of the kittens at the Cathedral of Learning (May 24). As an alumnus of the University of Pittsburgh, I am disgusted by Pitt's inappropriate encouragement of cat breeding.

Cats are vicious creatures that kill for a living. Because of them, squirrels are no longer seen outside the main library in Oakland or about the Pitt campus. Those cats are also responsible for killing native songbirds. I much prefer robins, wrens, bluejays and cardinals to cats, which will also eat puppies and falcons.

Predatory cats have no proper place in urban areas, and institutions of higher learning do not have a legitimate concern with encouraging their breeding.

I saw the photo of the peregrine falcon chicks at the Cathedral of Learning (May 24). As an alumnus of the University of Pittsburgh, I am disgusted by Pitt's inappropriate encouragement of falcon breeding.

What a gal and the Hawks still nest there right? These are the ones she talks about when she's out watching on her lunch break, I assume! Her hawks!!

Kids are out and about. Look how they have changed!

They quickly realized that they might not be able to complete their job when they saw a 4-foot-long hawk’s nest in the billboard.
