I was talking with Carol and Dana about a get together.
It seemed like Saturday, the 13 around 4:00 pm at the Genesee Brewery sounded good.
At present, the Brew House does not have a special event planned.
Parties of more than 8 can not be on the patio, only inside or on the roof.
They don't take reservations.
Given the above, I'd like to suggest that we go there anyway because of the significance of the gorge to us.

Rochester Falcons / Rochester Falcon Discussion / Voyager's Lessons for Us All

Last year I had the privilege of naming one of the baby falcons at the Times Square Building in Rochester NY.
The name I chose for her was 'Voyager'. To me, it emphasized the adventurous nature of the peregrine falcon, and the best in spirit of people when they are moving forward with life to whatever our destiny is.
I learned today, that as often happens in nature, Voyager had to be euthanized in Canada after an apparently savage battle.
One in five peregrines makes it to year two. Voyager did not make it, but in her time, I'm sure, she carried on the spirit of the peregrine, and contributed her part in this recovering species' proud legacy and awesome future.

So far about 8 people: Larry, Dan, Mak, Jeanne, Carol, Lisa (little late), Shaky and 1 or 2 lurkers.
And Carrie, Kathy o, Susan c, Pamela. More like 12 now. I will ask about a reservation, but I believe that they don't do reservations. |

I have 4 rsvps (Mak, Jeanne, Dan and myself) and 3 "can't make its". What about the rest of you? [;<) Larry O Ok, folks. I need a body count for the reservation to ensure we can get a Lazy Susan table. The table will seat 12, but we could get cozy at up to 14. FW Holiday Dinner: Saturday, December 22nd at 4 p.m. at the Shanghai restaurant on West Henrietta Rd. If interested we could do a secret Santa with value of gift to be less than $10. Gifts would be exchanged at random with no one knowing to whom they will give nor from whom they received. Let me know.
